Promoting Green Procurement

To deliver environmentally friendly products to our customers, the Koki Holdings Group asks our business partners to actively engage in environmental conservation activities and to supply materials and parts with a low environmental impact, seeking their understanding and cooperation in this regard.

As part of the procurement department’s initiatives, the introduction of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) in recent years has led to the reduction of paper and other resources—including those used by our business partners—improved operational efficiency, the prevention of data entry errors during order placement and receipt, and the optimization of production planning through accurate delivery date tracking, thereby fostering a deep relationship of mutual support.

Furthermore, to strengthen our partnerships with business partners, we regularly conduct environmental impact assessments. We recognize business partners who demonstrate outstanding achievements in green procurement and social contribution activities, and by providing advice on strengthening environmental management systems and chemical substance management, as well as offering guidance for improvement to business partners with high defect rates, we are fostering relationships of trust while promoting resource conservation and enhanced safety.

Furthermore, regarding lead—which is currently in the pre-regulation phase—we are actively working to reduce environmental impact by collaborating with our business partners to promote the replacement of lead-containing parts with lead-free alternatives.
