Promotion of CSR Activities: Installation of Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems
As measures to increase domestic energy self-sufficiency and prevent global warming and social contribution activities to fulfill social responsibilities, we’ve operated the Koki Holdings Solar Power Station in Sawa Plant (Hitachinaka, Ibaraki) since
October 2013. We sell all power generated by the 2,088 solar panels installed in an area of 7,700 m2 to the electric company under the Feed-in Tariff Scheme for Renewable Energy. Annual
power generation in fiscal year 2020 was 642,000 kWh, equivalent to the power consumed by about 143 households.
We’ve also installed solar outdoor lights integrated with solar panels on the premises of the Katsuta and Sawa
Plants for nighttime illumination.
